Mobility platform workers: PEReN contributes to ARPE's 2023 study

Subject to an obligation of transparency, mobility platforms publish indicators every year on the activity of workers on delivery or ride-hailing services platforms. For the 2023 edition of the ARPE report, PEReN is renewing its contribution to the analysis of these data.

In accordance with the provisions of the 2019 French mobility orientation law on transport (LOM), ride-hailing services and goods delivery platforms have been publishing annual indicators (income, duration of service, waiting time) on the activity of the workers they register since 2022.

Working closely with the Autorité des Relations Sociales des Plateformes d'Emploi (ARPE), which collects and compiles this data, PEReN helps to analyze and graphically process it. The computer code it develops to carry out this work is also available on its own online space for collaborative code management and maintenance.

What can we learn from this 2023 report?

For this new report published by ARPE, the 2023 data were aggregated with those from the previous 2 years, and concerned 14 platforms (10 operating in the ride-hailing sector, 4 in the goods delivery sector).
